Inhalt This course will provide a basic introduction to major qualitative research approaches such as thematic analysis, grounded theory and interpretative phenomenological analysis. In addition, it will also address special topics such as the quality of qualitative research and the particular challenges involved with doing qualitative research on sensitive topics or with vulnerable populations. Various generic strategies and techniques for data collection, analysis and presentation in qualitative research will be covered, and in-class as well as take-home exercises will provide students with the opportunity to gain some hands-on experience.
E-Learning All teaching material is provided via the e-learning platform Moodle.

Lernziele Students will be introduced to the epistemological and theoretical underpinnings of qualitative social research and will develop the requisite basic skills to successfully conduct a qualitative health science research project.
