Inhalt

ReInventing Leadership – being a leader in the world of today. This is not your regular kind of course. This course provides an in-depth introduction into the topic of leadership and focuses on four central leadership elements in a highly interactive way. It involves a lot of personal reflection, sharing and exploration. It’s about you as a leader as much as it is about leadership theory.

Day 1: What is this thing called leadership
Exploring leadership in theory and practice.

Day 2: Leadership in context
An experiential-based exploration of leadership in the context of my environment and me.

Day 3 and 4: The flow an future leadership
Get to know key elements, which make leadership dynamic and impactful. This includes creativity, collective intelligence, and trust. A co-creation of what leadership needs to be for the emerging future.

Lernziele At the end of the course module, the participant will:
1. Be able to understand and explain the various theories of leadership and how context impacts the shaping of responsible leadership and management
2. Have explored the story of their leadership vision and approach
3. Understand aspects of leadership such as trust, motivation, presence, collaboration
3. Know expectations on leadership from different perspectivesand contexts
5. Have identified the role of leadership in the future and what it is to be a leader in the transformation of business and society at any level

Anmeldung ATTENTION: To attend the course / exercise, registration via e-learning platform OLAT is required. Registration is possible from 6 - 13 February 2023. The students themselves are responsible for checking the creditability of the course to their course of study.

Hinweise Her course is open for all students.
It is open to students who want to actively explore leadership and who they are/can be as leaders.
The course is offered by the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Lucerne.
The course is highly interactive. It will take place entirely in English (though it is not a test of your English so don't worry!).
Attendance is limited to 36 students. Registrations will be considered on the basis of the date of receipt (via OLAT).
