In dieser Veranstaltung stellen internationale Wissenschaftler im Bereich Law and Economics ihre Forschungsergebnisse vor. Die Working Papers werden durch die Teilnehmenden kritisch diskutiert und kommentiert.In this course international scholars in the field of Law and Economics present their research findings. The participants critically discuss the working papers and comment on them. |

Die Präsenz an der am 17./18. März 2023 stattfindenden Tagung „Law and Economics of Justice: Efficiency, Reciprocity, Meritocracy“ in Luzern ist obligatorisch. Anschliessend müssen sich die Studierenden bis am 15. Mai 2023 via UniPortal anmelden (zählt als Prüfungsanmeldung). Schliesslich ist eine Arbeit von 8-10 Seiten zum Thema eines der vorgestellten Papers auf Deutsch oder auf Englisch zu verfassen. Eine Auswahl der Papers wird ab Mitte März auf OLAT zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese Arbeit ist bis zum 31. Mai 2023 in elektronischer Form und zusätzlich als unterzeichnete Hardcopy einzureichen und wird benotet.
In order to receive the credits for this course, the students must, first, fulfil the mandatory attendance requirement at the conference „Law and Economics of Justice: Efficiency, Reciprocity, Meritocracy “, which takes place on the 17-18 March 2023 in Lucerne. Second, the students must register via UniPortal by 15 May 2023 (counts as exam registration). Finally, the students must submit an 8-10 page essay in either German or English on the topic of one of the presented papers. The essay must be submitted electronically and, additionally, as a signed hardcopy by 31 May 2023 and will be graded. |
