| Inhalt |
This course develops and applies tools and methods for the valuation of projects and firms. Central topics include: Measuring and forecasting cash flows; firm valuation using the discounted cash flow (DCF), measurement error, relative valuation and multiples, and the valuation of young and private firms. |
| Lernziele |
Students know the state-of-the art valuation methods. They are familiar with relative valuation and the discounted cash flow approach. Students can make reasonable financial projections based on historical financial statements as well as analyst forecasts and industry reports. Students know the main drivers of firm value. They are familiar with the challenges when estimating continuing value. |

Bachelor students in their 6th semester and master students are allowed to join the lecture. |
