The course provides an introduction to the principles of economic evaluation. Building on the theoretical foundations of cost-benefit, cost-utility, and cost-effectiveness analyses, the course will cover topics such as the measurement and valuation of health outcomes and costs, decision-analytic modeling, with a focus on decision trees and Markov models, uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, and using real-world evidence to inform decision-making. Time will be devoted to practicing and discussing economic evaluations in the domain of health and health care and the use of economic evaluation results in health policy and practice. |
E-Learning |
