Inhalt • Anatomy of the brain, and classification of brain regions based on anatomical landmarks
• Sensation in the brain: somatic sensation, pain, vision, olfactory, gustatory, auditory sensation
• Movement and motor control in the brain
• Cognitive and emotional brain: attention, memory, language, executive functions, fear, affection
• Principles of neuroimaging
Lernziele • Acquire knowledge on the main brain structures and their functions
• Identify the brain regions responsible for sensation and movement
• Learn the main cognitive and emotional functions, and associate them to specific brain areas
Sprache Englisch
Begrenzung If you have already successfully completed this course as part of the MSc Health Sciences, it is not possible to complete it twice.
