Inhalt This course examines health policy and social policy developments in a comparative perspective, with a particular focus on Switzerland. It looks at how health and social protection systems differ across countries, how political actors, institutions, and public opinion shape these policies, and how they affect health outcomes and inequalities. The course also addresses current policy challenges such as workforce shortages, political polarization, climate change, and the integration of health and social care. The course includes several guest lecturers and a field trip to the Swiss Parliament in Bern with a meeting with a member of parliament (Wednesday 18.03.2026, 17:30-20:00).
