The lecture focuses on organisational design and organisational change. It addresses the following questions:
(1) What is an organisation and why is it needed?
(2) How can formal organisational structures be designed effectively and efficiently?
(3) How can informal organisational processes be analysed and coordinated?
(4) How can organisational change be planned and supported in a targeted manner?
(5) How can organisational adaptability be promoted? |
| Lernziele |
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
(1) Understand and explain the key terms and concepts related to organisational design and organisational change, and place them in a logical context in professional discourse.
(2) Identify structures and forces within organisations and explain how they contribute to stability and change.
(3) Classify resistance in connection with organisational change and derive measures to positively influence organisational change.
(4) Analyse problems related to organisational design and organisational change in a structured manner and critically examine proposed solutions. |

Prior attendance of ‘Introduction to Business Administration’ is not required, but is recommended. |
