Inhalt The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) organizes a Moot Court Competition on International Trade Law for students from all over the world. The simulated proceeding is based on the dispute settlement system of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The teams prepare and analyze a fictive case tackling key legal questions of international economic law in the fields of trade in goods and services. Following the release of the case in mid-September 2017, the team will draft written submissions for the Complainant and the Respondent. After the written submission phase, regional pleading rounds take place between February and March 2018. The best 20 teams are qualified to participate in the final oral round in June 2018, which takes place in Geneva in front of renowned WTO scholars and actual members of the WTO Panels and the Appellate Body.
More information, as well as details on previous WTO Moot Court editions, are available at: http://emc2.elsa.org.
