| Inhalt |
Democratic theorists increasingly consider that the institutions of conventional representative systems implement democratic principles to a limited extent. Many of them call for exploring and experimenting innovative institutional arrangements that could enhance the realization of democracy. In this seminar, we will learn about innovative institutional designs such as mini-publics, plural voting schemes, and sortition and assess their potential to cope with various problems of democracy.
