Inhalt |
From the decision of the British people to leave the European Union to the Russian annexation of Crimea or Catalonia’s attempt to secede from Spain, the past decade has been marked by the resurgence of ethno-territorial conflicts spanning the European continent from East to West. In this course, we will explore the relationship between territory and ethnicity and how it produces various forms of political conflicts in a broad comparative perspective. Through case studies dragged from all corners of the continent, participants will be exposed to comparative research methods, and be encouraged to use them for their own research purposes.
