| Inhalt |
The course presents different disciplinary perspectives of the health sciences, including health communication, health behavior, health economics, and health policy. Different lecturers will introduce their scientific fields, allowing students to develop a broad and critical understanding of the various approaches. The application of knowledge to real-world problems is an integral part of the learning experience. Students will also be informed about the major choice, the internships, and study opportunities after the first semester. |

| Lernziele |
At the end of this course students should be able to (i) demonstrate a basic understanding of the different perspectives of the health sciences, ii) recognize the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to study health, functioning, and well-being, and iii) apply scientific reasoning to the analysis of current events and case readings related to health and healthcare. |
