Inhalt |
In the course of the Seminar, students learn to tackle a scientific question in the field of Marketing/Consumer Behavior. They will be introduced to the methodology and tools of experimental research. Students conduct their own experimental study, analyse the results and present them in the seminar. A financial outlay of ca. CHF 100 (to be borne by the students) must be expected for the collection of the data. The seminar offers an optimal preparation for a Master’s thesis in the field of Marketing and Consumer Behavior. The seminar can be attended parallel to the Master’s thesis. |
Lernziele |
Learning objectives / Skills:
- Applied introduction to research in marketing/consumer behavior
- Introduction to experimental research including execution, analysis and presentation of an own experimental study
- Improve presentational skills
- Preparation for writing a master thesis in the field of marketing/consumer behavior (attending the seminar is a mandatory requirement for writing the master thesis at the chair of Prof. Dr. Reto Hofstetter)

Requirements: Attendance of the lectures «Causal Analysis» and «Marketing Research» recommended; attendance of the «Marketing Research Seminar» is a mandatory requirement for writing the master thesis at the chair of Prof. Dr. Reto Hofstetter. |

To attend the course / exercise, registration via e-learning platform OLAT is required. Registration is possible from 5 – 30 September 2022. The students themselves are responsible for checking the creditability of the course to their course of study. |
