Lernziele	In this 1-day workshop on Swiss-specific ethics and submission procedures with the online BASEC system you will get training and practical tips on selecting the right templates, completing them and managing the online submission tool for Swiss ethics applications. This workshop is designed to provide students in the area of health sciences and clinical- and rehabilitation sciences with practice training, tips and tricks for successful and straight forward ethics submission procedures. By end of this course, students are expected to: • know the BASEC (online) portal for ethics submissions in Switzerland • have a personal BASEC account for ethics submissions • know processes and timelines for ethics submission procedures • be able to allocate a study to the right study category, based on a short methodological description. • be able to choose and fill out templates and additionnal required documents as requested for the respective study category • know the most important DOs and DON'Ts related to ethics submissions • upload and submit all needed documents and information in the online BASEC system • practice as much as possible on above mentionned tasks concerning their own planned (PhD) project
