Lernziele |
The objective of this course is to give an overview of the field of public health and enable students to apply their knowledge directly to interpreting studies and designing interventions on population health. The first part of the course establishes a comprehensive understanding of the core concepts and frameworks in the field of public health. In addition, students gain an insight into the history of public health, major public health areas, and key stakeholders. The second part of the course introduces the fundamentals of public health, including epidemiology, determinants of health, and the public health action cycle. The final part of the course provides insights into specific topics of public health and public health practice. |
