| Inhalt |
Students will participate in a seminar course dedicated to an in-depth philosophical, theological, and scientific examination of God, time, and creation across the Abrahamic faiths. The course will focus on the careful reading and rigorous discussion of primary sources or other key texts, with a view to modeling critical philosophical thinking. |
| Lernziele |
A successful student in this course will:
1. Develop an understanding of basic issues within the philosophy of time and how those issues apply to theological debates within Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
2) Develop an understanding of religious doctrines like models of God, creation, providence, and life after death.
3) Evaluate different religious thinkers and their positions on God and time. |
