Inhalt - Anatomy of the brain, and classification of brain regions based on anatomical landmarks
- Sensation in the brain: somatic sensation, pain, vision, olfactory, gustatory, auditory sensation
- Movement and its neural correlates
- Cognitive and emotional brain: attention, memory, language, executive functions, fear, affection
- Principles of neuroimaging
Lernziele - Acquire knowledge on the main brain structures and their functions
- Identify the brain regions responsible for sensation and movement
- Learn the main cognitive and emotional functions, and associate them to specific brain areas
