Inhalt This seminar explores the interdisciplinary science of wellbeing and the interventions that promote it. Students will engage with research from clinical psychology, positive psychology, behavioral science, neuroscience, and contemplative traditions to critically assess both theoretical models and practical tools. Through readings, discussions, experiential exercises, and personal projects, students will deepen their understanding of how wellbeing can be cultivated in various contexts.
Lernziele Understand what contributes to wellbeing from various perspectives.
Understand how interventions can be designed to promote wellbeing.
Gain experience implementing interventions.
Voraussetzungen Psychologie-Hauptfach: Abgeschlossenes Propädeutikum

Begrenzung Maximum of 25 participants.
Anmeldung Registration via the university portal is mandatory in order to attend the course, as the performance assessment will be completed during the semester. This registration also counts as registration for the performance assessment. Registration is open from Monday, 1 September 2025 to Sunday, 14 September 2025, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Leistungsnachweis The performance assessment takes place during the semester as part of the course (pass/fail). Attendance is compulsory: students must be present for at least 80% of the sessions, otherwise the course will be considered failed.
Abschlussform / Credits Verschiedenes (siehe Hinweise) / 4 Credits
Hinweise The performance assessment includes written work, reflection and a presentation. Active participation and the reading of texts are required for proseminars.

The proseminar will be held in English.

If the number of participants is too low, the Dean’s Office reserves the right to cancel the proseminar.

Students are responsible for checking whether the course can be credited towards their degree programme.
