Lernziele 1. Analyze organizational structures and decision-making processes
Students can describe and critically analyze various hierarchy and decision-making structures in hospitals with regard to their efficiency and impact.

3. Explain the fundamentals of strategic hospital management
Students are able to explain core concepts such as SWOT analysis, target agreements, and strategic planning in the hospital context and apply them to case studies.
4. Understand hospital financing and reimbursement systems
Students can explain key hospital financing systems (e.g., DRG system, budgeting) and assess their influence on medical and organizational decision-making.
5. Reflect on quality and process management
Students are able to explain methods of quality management (e.g., PDCA cycle, certifications, indicators) and discuss their role in continuous improvement processes.
6. Evaluate interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership skills in clinical practice
Students can identify principles of effective interprofessional collaboration and leadership requirements in hospital settings and justify their relevance for patient safety and staff satisfaction.
