Inhalt This course gives an overview of the recent research in empirical environmental economics. After a brief introduction to the underlying theoretical concepts, we will mainly focus on two topics: air pollution and climate change. Students will present and discuss research papers that address various critical questions related to these two topics, such as: What are the impacts on human health outcomes and mortality? How do they impair other aspects of human life, such as labor productivity and well-being? Finally, we will study different environmental policies and discuss pros and cons.
