| Lernziele |
The student of economics will not only gain a deeper understanding of macroeconomics and its limits, the course will also provide the student with a toolbox of historical and modern macroeconomic models so that the student gains the ability to select the most appropriate model to address a given economic problem.
The student of philosophy will be provided with a case study in the philosophy of science and may gain a better understanding of the particular issues that Macroeconomics as a science faces.
The student of politics will gain a better understanding of the links between macroeconomic theory and specific policy recommendations, particularly with regard to stabilization policy. |

Late registrations and withdrawals will not be accepted. Once the registration period has ended, participation in the course is MANDATORY. If the course is not completed without a valid reason and without proper withdrawal (including supporting documentation; see the Exam Guidelines), the course will be considered failed (grade 1). |
